New SportsLife College Football Preview At LifeEpicurean.com: The Big East [Sep. 16th, 2009|10:34 am]
Washington State University

The Big East has developed a bit of a reputation as the Rodney Dangerfield of the major BCS conferences-getting no respect. Despite the fact that they fielded a number of talented teams, and produced no fewer than 3 first round draft picks in the NFL Draft. The fact is, there’s plenty of talent to be had out of the Big East, and with a number of interesting stories happening at a number of schools, the Big East may well produce another new conference champion, and another school may rise from the ashes to see itself in a BCS Bowl. With a variety of schemes being employed, and with some top tier talent in the conference, there’s no shortage of exciting games on the schedule, and no shortage of teams primed to shatter the perception of the Big East as a second tier conference. With a lot of teams to like, and none that stand out, SportsLife will break down the grain from the chaff. READ MORE HERE.

SportsLife 2009 College Football Season Preview: The SEC [Aug. 19th, 2009|02:29 pm]
Washington State University

The conference that is seemingly the king of the mountain in NCAA football, the Southeastern Conference, has yet again produced the National Champion, for the third time in three years, and once again, it’s the Tim Tebow & Urban Meyer-led Florida Gators. It truly must be great to be a Florida Gator, but will it be again this year? Do the Crimson Tide of Alabama have the bodies to make up for their losses in players moving on to the NFL? Can the LSU Tigers once again let the nation hear the roar of the Bayou Bengals? Are the Bulldogs of UGA ready to finally be the National Title threat they have been billed as? Who are the dark horses? With no further ado, we begin our 2009 College Football Preview with the SEC. READ MORE HERE.

Does WSU offer a basic cooking/home ec type class? I thought I heard they did, but I have no idea what to look under to find it, if it does indeed exist.

Any ideas?

Has anyone taken this class. I'm taking it this term and just got all my books. I'm sort of a slow reader so I want to get a jump start. Does anyone remember what book you read first?

There is a signature drive for referendum 71 to eliminate the Domestic Partnership Expansion Law of 2009 in Washington state. The new law gives many of the rights of marriage to same-sex couples, without changing the current state definition.

Protect equal rights pledge to decline to sign referendum 71.
